User Interface
Welcome to my Knight Veil Blog. The user interface in a game design is something Iβve never really had any interest in however when you have a combat system that heavily relies on weapon variety I had to make it easier for the player to control all his items.
I want to begin by stating the biggest mistake I made this entire time I programmed the game, because I didnβt consider an inventory system in the code from the beginning or a save system I suffered with the last vital design implementations of the game. But in the end, I was successful with the implementation of a robust inventory system that has important features that are vital to the player's experience such as managing the weight and organising the items the player has. In the end, however, it felt clunky and not polished.
There isnβt any time left to work on this iβm very impressed with the fact I have a user interface that works at all. These last few weeks I must finish the game development.
